What do you like best about Jotform?

What do you dislike about Jotform?

What do you dislike about Jotform?

One common dislike about Jotform is that some users find the pricing structure a bit steep, especially for advanced features or higher submission limits. Additionally, while the platform offers a lot of customization options, some users may feel that the learning curve can be a bit challenging when trying to achieve more complex designs. What do you like best about Jotform?

Jotform is SOOO flexible in the types of forms I can create. From registration forms, interest forms, signup forms and payment forms (and that's just the tip of the iceberg). If you can think it, you can probably build it in Jotform. Because you can customize the user experience during and after submission, you can guide the user to the action(s) you want to achieve. Customization for branding is also valueable. And when they added the single question option, it made the forms even more mobile-friendly for our increasingly mobile-friendly world. What do you dislike about Jotform?

When I change the name of the field, I sometimes don't remember to change the conditions I've set up and so the form will not function as intended. An alert or reminder would be nice! Other than that, I have very little to complain about. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Jotform?

JotForm has a lot of built-in integrations. Several you will need to configure and troubleshoot yourself, but they have easy to understand documentation and a helpful support team and community to get answers from. I like that they offer non-profit pricing, which is very attractive to us. You can integrate with a payment system like Stripe and collect payments for submissions in awards programs. There are lot of existing templates already available so you don't have to build from scratch every time. You can customize email notifications that are sent to the submitter and the administrator, along with push notifications sent to the admin. It was a very affordable alternative solution that we downgraded from a much more expensive company to manage our annual awards program submissions. I like that you can create really robust surveys or forms based on the submitter's previous responses, rivaling many leading survey competitors. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Jotform?

There have been times I've had to spend a few hours troubleshooting some configuration issues with 3rd party apps like Google. I wanted to change our email sender name and email to our domain information and there were a few early snags getting that setup. Once that was up and going, I don't have any complaints. What do you like best about Jotform?

I've used Jotform as both a creator and a responder. As a creator, the interface makes it easy to build a custom form for events that don't fit standard templates. The video tutorials, user guide, and shortcuts are all great, and I know that if I run into issues, customer support is there for consultation. The option to upload my own graphics is definitely a plus also. As a responder, I appreciate the ability to save my progress as I work my way through questions. Jotform is an extremely easy-to-use form tool that makes good-looking and widely variable forms that are sufficient for almost anyone's needs, even at a business enterprise level. The most impressive element is how much conditional logic you can apply to a form to get the exact questions in front of the user/responsive behavior after the form submit. What do you dislike about Jotform?

The most annoying thing we've dealt with is the system's desire to keep multiple people from logging into the same account using a 2FA system that is openly hostile to the user. I get it but it's also really annoying when the needs of the enterprise tier are totally different than an org's needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Jotform?

I couldn't survive without Jotform. I was so happy the day I found it. It allowed me to modernize and digitize the catering business my mother started over 30 years ago, streamlining operations and customer acquisition by allowing tentative customers to create their own quotations and/or place their own orders, whilst building our marketing database. We were able to expand our offerings, better organize production, keep more efficient customer notes, establish RSVP lists, and enhance the customer journey.

Jotform is relatively easy to use, (although there are many more features available to the design or coding professional) and when it is not, the answer is usually just a quick Google search away. The answers that appear are almost always directly from Jotform support, showing that the Customer Support for Jotform is exceptional.

We also love that multiple employees can work on a form at the same time from different devices (as long as they are editing different components of the form). This allows the design team to work on aesthetics while the techs can work on the more advanced fields using logic and coding. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Jotform?

We find that Jotform could be a little more user friendly for the average person, especially after becoming familiar with tools such as Canva where little to no design or coding experience is needed. For instance, The Conditions feature is great, but one needs to have a good understanding of coding/conditional logic, which is not common knowledge.

My biggest issue is how designs end up presenting on mobile devices. The Builder (design feature) is set for computer use and therefore the design presents stretched, distorted or cut off for mobile devices. Most of our customer base are using their phones and I think this is true now for most of the world.

I’ve experienced issues with logo placement and how it presents or formats, again especially on mobile devices.

The form’s link preview has also been a reoccurring problem for me, when sharing via social, WhatsApp, iMessage or SMS. I have trouble getting my logo, image and copy to appear as desired, especially among different devices and brands and once it appears correctly, the same link can suddenly switch back to displaying the Jotform logo with no changes or foreseeable reason.

While the Date Picker has a time component, you are not able to limit times in the Date Picker. We fixed this using the Appointment feature, but it would have been much easier on the user end to include a Time Picker under Date Picker.

When using the non-product forms for price related activations, such as event quotations, and catering ordering forms, the number values don't have a currency mask, or formatting for money. These fields present without currency symbols. And it is extremely hard to read. There are input masks which can change it to read like currency when the customer is inputting the information, but when the form is doing the calculations, there is no way to change it to currency. I would prefer a simple drop down option to change the field to currency both on the form and the auto-responder. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Jotform makes form building incredibly easy and intuitive and no coding required. I love how quickly I can create a professional-looking form using drag-and-drop tools. What I like most about Jotform is how easy it is to build professional-looking forms, even without any coding skills. It saves a lot of time and works really well on both desktop and mobile. What do you like best about Jotform?

I've been using Jotform for a couple of years now and right from the start, I found it very easy to set up forms. The available support is great, especially when wanting to make use of more advanced features. I've now got around 10 forms being actively used every day and it's been so easy to make use of them!
